Hello! My name is Miss Griebe and this will be my fifth year teaching at Sandy Grove Elementary School. Originally from Michigan, I moved to North Carolina to pursue my passion when I was offered this amazing third grade teaching position. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Language Arts from Adrian College. I truly enjoy North Carolina and am determined to experience all that it has to offer. In my spare time I love to read, watch Netflix, and go for hikes! I'm sure this will be another great year and look forward to getting to know all of my students, and seeing them succeed!

Hand Written Notes: This is a good way to communicate, but please remember to remind your child to hand it in on time, especially if it is a transportation change.
Classtag: This is a quick and easy way for us to communicate! I will add you after open house with your telephone number. The app is free for both Android and Iphone users. You can use this to let me know if your child is bringing in a note to me, so I know to ask for it etc.
Concerns: If you have any questions or concerns please reach out! We are in this together for the success of your child, so lets be dedicated to working together to succeed not just in their education, but also their role model behavior in the classroom . Third grade is filled with changes, challenges, and opportunities for not only the student, but you and I as well. I hope we can all rise to the occasion to make this a great year!
